If you can suggest a good, non-animated one for us that means just that, we'll gladly take a look to see if we can make anything happen.

Ah, but you see, the Entmoot paper money value is tied to the strategic Lembas reserves, and as we all know those keep practically forever, so the chances of any loss of value this Aera of the Sun is considered unlikely. (Hey, just because we're evil doesn't mean we'd appreciate sound economic practises.) Besides we have many a cacoa-plantation in Far Harad.

Why, yes, in the Teacup it's free! (Although I can't promise that outside of the Teacup we won't be asking for your first-born just yet.)

It's not. Sinterklaas first (December 5th) and then we can move on to Christmas. *shakes head*

Naa, kidding. They're pretty, though. I love semi-precious stones.

Oh, Eärn...

Had I bought fifty-three, I could have given three to thee,
Had I bought fifty-two, that'd been awesome too,
Had I bought fifty-one, this'd have been better fun
But I bought fifty and no more,
so no green stones on your door.

I got God Delusion from Mom (having asked for it), and I'm loving it. The darwinian megaversum theory is fascinating, although I don't think it's that propable. After Bioshock Infinite, and now GD, I'm kinda bugged I can't do maths - all those parallel universes...

SkyRadio didn't wait until the 7th. I guess Christmas songs are more marketable than Sinterklaas songs. The shops stocked the shelves with Christmas stuff way before Sinterklaas too this year. And pepernoten were in store in the last week of September this year. It's insane.

What, you're gonna hog all fifty anyway? No fair! Who are you, Thorin Oakenshield? It's not like they're fifty Arkenstones.

I got The Greatest Show on Earth for my sis last Christmas, but with the kids, I don't think she got to it yet. Let me know whether you still like the God Delusion when it's finished.

When reading Hawking's A Brief History of Time I realised the maths would be a problem for me getting anything of higher physics and other exact sciences.

Hm, maybe my radio was an odd one out. I didn't hear a Christmassy peep until the 7th, then it all broke loose. The shops that don't sell kids' stuff though were already in christmas-style halfway through November. A tad early, me thinks. But ah, we already get stocked with the new bathing clothes in February, and the funny thing is that people already buy them then anyway so maybe it's not a bad strategy.

Heh Hey, Elven lords can be hoggy too! It's not a Dwarven priviledge

Will do. (Why wouldn't I?)

That's why I woed my lack of maths...

I watched the Battle of the Five Armies yesterday with my buddies. Of course no spoilers, but quite good, IMO.

Happy new year, all. We have leftover miruvor-eggnog and asperines (for those who had quite enough of the former) at the bar.

Oh right, equal opportunity hogginess! Lemme amend then: "What, you're gonna hog all fifty anyway? No fair! Who are you, King Thingol? It's not like they're fifty Silmarils."

There's a thread up in the movie forum if you want to share thoughts.

Boycotting for a specific reason? Or just not holding your interest?
